The Lexmark XC2235 is the MFP version of the C2240 — a 35 ppm color A4 multifunction (slightly slower than the C2240's 40 ppm because of MFP firmware overhead) for solo professionals and 2-4 person offices wanting color print, copy, scan, and fax in a single desktop device. 4.3-inch touchscreen, 50-sheet single-pass duplex ADF, 250-sheet input expandable to 900, gigabit Ethernet, optional Wi-Fi. The 1 thing buyers regret: outgrowing the 50-sheet ADF. If you scan 100-page contract sets every week, the XC2235 will frustrate you — that's an XC4150 or XC4153 use case. The XC2235 is sized for 10-30 page scan batches. The other regret is misreading 35 ppm as a typo. Lexmark's color speeds in the small-office tier are honest — when the marketing sheet says 35 ppm color, that's continuous-run color speed including duplex.
