The print engine is identical to the standard C6010 — 60 ppm in both black and color, A3/12x18 max paper, 1,200 sheets standard input expandable to 4,850 — but the SD adds a 300-sheet single-pass document feeder rated for plastic cards and carbonless paper up to 1.4mm thick. SPDF speed is 100 ipm simplex / 200 ipm duplex with 600 dpi optical resolution and document deskew, rotation, and resize built in. Output formats include searchable PDF with the optional OCR Unit Type M52, plus encrypted PDF and PDF/A. The 10.1" Smart Operation Panel is the same Android-based UI as the rest of the IM C series, so existing Ricoh shops train operators once.
