The Ricoh IM C8010 is the current-generation 80-ppm production-class A3 color laser MFP, replacing the discontinued IM C8000 with the latest security baseline (hardened Android OS, TPM 2.0, TLS 1.3, FIPS-validated Enhanced Security SSD option). It runs at 80 ppm in both black and color, hits up to 4,800 x 1,200 dpi equivalent via VCSEL imaging, and ships with 3,700 sheets standard input expandable to 8,100. Recommended monthly volume is up to 50,000 pages. The 220-sheet SPDF scans at 150 ipm simplex / 300 ipm duplex with image deskew and rotation. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet plus 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi (built in, not optional) and USB; fax is optional. Inline finishing covers everything from staple-free binding (15 sheets) through 100-sheet stapling, hole-punch, folding, saddle-stitch up to 80 pages, and perfect-bound books up to 200 pages with the optional Perfect Binder GB5010. The #1 question we get on this printer is "which toner do I buy?" Short answer: you have two cartridge options and a drum. Standard yield TN830 covers roughly 1,200 pages. High yield TN830XL covers roughly 4,500 pages and is the better value for most offices. Pick XL unless you print very little.

The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.
