Is this the right printer for you?

Who the Ricoh P C375 is actually for

Most printer pages just tell you what a printer does. Here's the honest version: when this machine is the right choice, when it's fine, and when you should look at something else. We sell a lot of these for a reason, but the reason is not "every office."

Best fit

Pick this if...

  • You run a workgroup of 5-15 people printing 1,500-5,000 color pages a month.
  • You want fast first-page-out: 4.1 sec black, 5.3 sec color — noticeably faster than the P C311W class.
  • You print on letter and legal in color and need real paper headroom — 300 standard, expandable to 1,300 sheets.
  • You want enterprise-grade security on a desktop: 802.1x, IPsec, TLS 1.3, SNMPv3, WPA3, encrypted secure print, drive overwrite at end of life.
  • You're standardized on Gigabit Ethernet (not Wi-Fi) for fleet management.
Works fine

You'll be happy if...

  • You print 5,000-7,500 pages a month — well within the 75K duty cycle, you'll just rotate through 10K-13.5K page cartridges more often.
  • You need Wi-Fi — IEEE 802.11 Type M57 accessory adds it for around $150-$200; not standard.
  • You need genuine Adobe PostScript 3 — that's the optional Type P24 unit, not standard (PostScript emulation IS standard).
  • You print on cardstock or coated stock — supported up to 200 g/m² from the standard tray and bypass.
Look elsewhere

Skip this if...

  • You need scan, copy, or fax — this is print-only. Get the IM C300F MFP instead.
  • You print under 750 pages a month — overbuilt. The P C311W or P C200W is right-sized.
  • You need 11x17 / tabloid — this is A4/Letter; max paper size is 8.5 x 14.
  • You expect a touchscreen or LCD — this model uses a status LED panel only; all configuration is via the web UI.
  • You want native Wi-Fi without an accessory — wireless is optional here.
Full specifications

Every spec, no guessing

The Ricoh P C375 is a desktop A4/Letter color laser printer for workgroups of 5-15 people printing 1,500-5,000 color pages a month. It runs at 32 ppm in both color and black with first page out in 4.1 sec black / 5.3 sec color — substantially faster than the P C311W. Print resolution is 1200 x 1200 dpi (true 1-bit), and auto duplex is standard. Standard paper input is 300 sheets (250-sheet tray + 50-sheet bypass), expandable to 1,300 sheets with one optional 500-sheet PB1210 feed unit and additional cabinet — real headroom for a desktop class device. Connectivity is Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, SD card slot, and a USB host for Media Direct Print, all standard; Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac is the optional Type M57 accessory. Security is the strongest in this class: 802.1x wired auth, IPsec, TLS 1.3, SNMPv3, WPA3, encrypted secure print, machine data encryption, and an erase-all-memory function for end-of-life drive sanitization. Toner yields are 13,500 (black) and 10,000 (each CMY) at 5% coverage. The 32 GB eMMC and 2 GB RAM keep complex PDFs from choking. Buyers regret: there is no LCD or touchscreen — just a status LED panel. All admin lives in the web UI. If your team expects an on-device touchscreen, get a Ricoh IM C300/C400 MFP class.

Supplies & consumables

Toner, yields, and what to actually reorder

The #1 question we get on this printer is "which toner do I buy?" Short answer: you have two cartridge options and a drum. Standard yield TN830 covers roughly 1,200 pages. High yield TN830XL covers roughly 4,500 pages and is the better value for most offices. Pick XL unless you print very little.

The drum unit (DR810) is separate and usually lasts 15,000 to 30,000 pages before it needs replacing. At a typical small office volume, expect to change it once every 2 to 4 years.

If you lease this printer through us, toner and drum are included. You never pay for supplies separately. That's usually the better deal once you add up real costs over 3 years.

What customers actually say

The 5-star consensus: "it just works"

Small sample size, high signal. The 3 verified reviewers picked this model to replace older inkjets or aging Ricoh machines. Common threads in the feedback:

  • "Been using this for our small office for about 8 months now. The color output is sharp and consistent, and the toner cartridges last way longer than our old Canon. Network printing works smoothly once you get it set up properly."
  • "Good workhorse printer for what we need. Copy quality is solid and I like that it handles different paper sizes without fussing. The touchscreen interface could be more intuitive, but you get used to it."
  • "Replaced our old Xerox with this and haven't looked back. Fast printing, the finishing options are actually useful, and IT support for the network integration was surprisingly helpful."
